The Calgary Edition

Born here. Our flagship. Our heart.

Calgary is where Flavours of Vietnam began — inspired by the beloved Taste of Asia and Taste of Calgary festivals. The flagship stop takes over Prince's Island Park in the Bow River with 80+ vendors, the national Chef Showdown finals, and a Sunday Family Day with free admission for kids. This is the biggest Vietnamese festival in Western Canada.

Calgary Festival FAQ

Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Yes, but gate tickets are $3 more and weekend passes often sell out. We strongly recommend buying online in advance.

Is the festival accessible?

All venues are wheelchair accessible with accessible washrooms, viewing platforms at main stages, and quiet zones.

Can I bring my dog?

Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome in outdoor areas. Service animals always permitted.

What about rain?

Flavours of Vietnam runs rain or shine. A handful of demos move under cover in bad weather — check our social channels day-of.

Are there vegetarian or vegan options?

Absolutely — roughly a third of our vendors offer vegetarian/vegan dishes, clearly marked at each booth.
